Welcome to Ms. Hammock's Class
Hi! My name is Katie Hammock. I received my BS degree in Elementary Education from Troy University in 2000. I began my teaching career at Cherokee Bend Elementary School in Mountain Brook, Alabama. I taught second grade there for six years. I then moved back to my hometown of Ozark, Alabama and taught first grade for a year at Pinedale Elementary in Enterprise before transferring to Mixon Elementary in Ozark where I also taught first grade. I have a passion for early elementary education and enjoy getting to know my students on and educational as well as a personal level!
I am a mother of two boys who love baseball and bike rides. I enjoy reading, traveling and going to the movies.
